Thank you Home Chef for this amazing opportunity. I have always wanted to try a meal delivery service. Especially one where I can cook the meal myself and learn a great new recipe. When Home Chef approached me with the opportunity to try their service I jumped at the chance. Home Chef has been around since 2013 and is the baby of chef Pat Viheltic who wanted to create a service for people and families with busy lives. The idea came to him after coming home a few times and having a hard time trying to figure out what to cook. It thought it would be a great idea for families to be able to have a service where they can choose meals, have the ingredients sent to them, and prepare them as a family. This is exactly what I needed. Sometimes I have a hard time coming up with meal ideas for my family and I. I usually wind up cooking the same meals. This is mainly because it’s what I am comfortable with and I know I can cook within a good time frame. My husband gets off pretty early and my kids have their respective activities in school. So with things being so busy sometimes it is difficult to figure out what to cook. Home Chef is the perfect service for my family and I.
To order from Home Chef is really simple. Every week you are given a choice between different meals. You choose the meals that you want and then they are shipped to you. They have meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and dessert. You have until Friday to choose your meals for the following week. I chose my meals last Wednesdays and I received my meals today. I was so excited. I created a periscope of my unboxing. Checkout the video below to see what I ordered and be sure to check back to read my review of each meal. I will be sharing them over the next few days.
