NaBloPoMo: What do you do to bring yourself up when you’re down? (December 1st)
I’m usually a very happy person. But there are times where I find myself feeling down for one reason or another. It could be from someone hurting me, having a bad day, or just genuinely no reason at all. In those times I like to find ways to pick myself up. I have a lot of things that make me happy. But there are some things that pick me up quicker than others. So I thought that I would share those things with you. Here are the top 3 things that pick me up when I’m down.
1. Music: When I’m down I love to listen to music that make me happy. My music of choice is usually gospel or music that makes me dance.
2. Food: I don’t do this one very often but a really good sweet snack makes me happy like cookies, ice cream, or cake. I’m trying to be healthier so I’m now looking for healthier options to replace these.
3. Family: I spend time with my family. My husband and kids always keep me laughing. So when I’m down I’ll do things with them. Like play games or just be with them.
So there are my 3 pick me ups for when I am down. So what do you do to pick yourself up when you are down?
