I am so glad that spring is here. It seems that every year my family and I find a new way to spend time together. I love the new activities that we do. We have done some hiking, just walking the paths around Georgia, and now we have found biking. Last year just before it got too cold The Husband and I purchased some bikes. We have been riding ever since. Well went it got cold we took a break but now that it’s warm enough we are back at it.
I have a number of favorite places I like to ride but Old 4th Ward Park is my favorite. It really is a great place to ride. I am going to share why I love it. You don’t have to just bike down there. You can walk as well.
- Art: Old Fourth Ward Park has some great art. I enjoy going down and seeing it all. I always discover something new when I go down. It’s really amazing to see all the art along The BeltLine.
- The Music: Down at Old Fourth Ward Park when you walk/ride the BeltLine you can see different talented artists. I enjoy hearing the music. I have come to have some favorites. It is really fun to see them.
- Ben & Jerry’s: There is a Ben & Jerry’s store just off the BeltLine in Old Fourth Ward Park that we go to sometimes when we are down there. I don’t do ice cream anymore because it simply doesn’t always agree with me so I get their mango lemonade sorbet. It is so good.
Old Fourth Ward is a great place to go to just walk/ride. You can also visit the Ponce City Market and other businesses along the Bet Line. I love how convenient it is. I have already made a list of all the restaurants I want to visit. Plus they have great events down there as well.

Wow this place looks great. I’m definitely going to go bike riding there. I hope to see the old guy playing the trumpet.
