By the end of this week we will be in a new year. It will be 2020. I can’t believe the year has flown by so fast. For most people the New Year means a chance to start fresh on some goals or make new ones. That’s usually what it means for me. I try to set goals to meet for myself. Because of course I want to be a better me. Sometimes I just continue the ones from last year because I still have some work to do. So this year I have a mixture of the two as always. Some I am still working on and new ones. I am excited for the new year to begin so I can get started on them both.
As I think about my goals for last year, there are definitely some that I could have done better on. Like I definitely could have probably done better in saving money or tried a little harder in the self care department. But that’s exactly why a new year is the perfect time to start over. You can always work to do better than the year before. You don’t even have to wait until a new year to start fresh. You can start fresh whenever you want and look up things like this enail kit, or whatever it is that you are thinking of doing in order to up your self care. But the 1st of January is just a better time for many people including yours truly. But don’t beat yourself up for those goals you didn’t meet last year just get started this year.
With each New Year I try to prepare for in anyway that I can. Because you never want things to stay the same. You want things to change and be better than they were before. My hardest thing for my goals is to stick to them. I find myself procrastinating on so many things and always thinking I can just do it later. I have some things that I have pushed back for so long that a year has passed before I can blink. Because I am so easily distracted I never get anything done and it is so frustrating. I figured that because I am so easily distracted I need a plan. So I came up with one. I have a few things that I am doing to make room for new and exciting things to come in 2020.
- I set clear but achievable goals. I have decided to set new goals each month. Even if they are the same from the month before I try to add something new.
- Get a planner. I recently got a planner from a friend. I plan on putting it to good use to help me stay on track. I’m a procrastinator so I really need to see what I’m working towards.
- Over the past few weeks I have purged some things out of my closet and some other items. Just to basically let go of some old things. But it also allowed me to be more organized.
If you choose to do the last thing on my list you could possibly make some money from your old stuff. You can take your old jewelry and handbags into cash. Chapes-JPL is an ideal place to take those things and get some money for your old jewelry.
Everyone could use a little extra money in their pocket. The money you get can be put towards your list of goals. The extra cash could help you get some of your goals off the ground. You can either start a new business dealing in commercial grade inflatables or something else of interest to you, pay off some debt, or start a savings account. Imagine, you start a new venture about something you are passionate about and it does take off! What are the things you would need to do? Plan for the finances and look at any environmental compliance (like the phase 1 esa) or rules that might need to be looked at before setting up the business.
Financing and a little bit of ambition are all that you would need to set your goals even higher! Well, with business listing platforms such as sell.io, the financing aspect might just get sorted, however, for your ambitions – it would be completely up to you! Additionally, making more room for new things in your life will be really helpful. Decluttering your home can be very freeing and therapeutic. It might even surprise you and help you move on from a situation. Situations like divorce or the loss of a family member. Chapes-JPL wants to help you get where you want to be in your life. They don’t have the same high interest rates as regular pawnshops. They will give you a loan for the things you bring in for collateral, or they will buy your valuables outright from you. It seems easy – nothing more and nothing less. Let me be clear though I have not had a personal experience with Chapes-JPL but I have heard great things about them, so if you are looking to sell jewelry in Atlanta, GA, check them out.
