La La Land Mommy: 35 & Fabulous!
Yesterday I became another year older. I turned 35. I don’t feel old at all. In fact I feel fabulous and blessed. One question everyone seems to get asked when they become another year older is how do you feel? For me I just don’t know how to answer that question. I feel like me. I honestly don’t think I will know how I feel to be 35 until I live it. Turning the age is just the beginning. You actually having lived that year until you make it to the next year. I can answer how I felt to be 34 now. I mean 34 felt like I have grown to become a different person. I am wiser and stronger. I feel like I have changed a little. I still have some things to work on like taking my business to the next level and working on facing some of my fears. I am finding more time for me and realizing more and more that everyone’s opinion really doesn’t matter. I am going to focus more on myself. So I can continue to be a better mother and wife.As a way to start my 35th year of life on a positive note I decided to do a mini photo shoot. I decided I wanted to feel beautiful, positive, and confident. So what better way to do it than to put on a outfit that I feel beautiful in and taking some pictures. So I found a dress that I considered to be pretty and I enlisted my daughter Nishe’ to help me take the pictures. We walked around and found some nice spots in our neighborhood to take some pictures. I didn’t worry too much about the poses. I just wanted to be comfortable and have fun. I think that Nishe’ did a great job taking these pictures. My 34th year was amazing. I plan on making my 35th year fabulous!

I think that there are some great things in store for me this year. I can’t wait to see what lies ahead. I am ready for it. I am going to do it while being fabulous!

Happy Birthday to you! I always get freaked out when another birthday rolls around but then calm down after it ends because like you said, there doesn’t feel like there’s a change.
I get scared wondering what lies ahead but then I realize I have to live it first.
Happy 35th! I think the 30’s are such an amazing time in a woman’s life. Everyone teased me once I hit 3-5, but I didn’t care because I feel great at this age!

Happy Birthday! I really do believe you are as young as you feel. I know people who are much younger but they have a very ‘old’ mindset, and visa versa. Keep that joy of life going and you’ll always be young in spirit.
