Last week I completed another rotation around the earth. I turned 41 years old! I feel like every year I grow older I find out something new about myself. I think I am a new person every year. I never stay the same because each year is a different journey. I am starting to fall more in love with the person every day. Let’s get into how I celebrated.
On Thursday the official day of my birthday The Husband and I headed to breakfast at this restaurant called Snooze. I really enjoy this restaurant. They have great breakfast. If you want to check it out they have two locations. One on Roswell Rd. And the other on Howell Mill Rd. Here in Georgia. We went to the location on Howell Mill Rd. There are no pictures of the food cause I really just wanted to enjoy the time I have with my husband. But let me tell you their French toast is delicious. I highly recommend it. We have been to both locations numerous times. We leave full every time.
After breakfast we headed to Atlantic Station and did some shopping. That’s basically where I did a mini photo shoot. My husband was a great team player. I got some great items. I found some amazing deals and spent a little money on myself. The Husband and I haven’t had a chance to walk in a while. I really enjoyed it. I just really enjoyed just being with my husband.
Saturday we did a family dinner with the family. We went to Steak & Shake. Where we had an amazing time with my sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, and nephews. We got to chat and hang out. I enjoy being around my family. Tyler and Nishe’ will celebrate with me when they come home.
This birthday was different. I felt so loved this year. I don’t recall the last time I felt this way. Maybe it’s because I love myself a little more. I didn’t leave it up to my family to make me feel loved and happy. I did it myself. I had no expectations for anyone. I just enjoyed the day.
