For the past few months The Husband has been deciding whether or not to get a new car. The decision was made more simple for us a few weeks ago when we took our old car somewhere similar to this auto repair in Lakewood, CO to get it an oil change and was told that it needed a new oil pan and that it would cost $600 to repair. Our previous car was just a little over 8 years old and when he thought about it, it just didn’t make sense to put that much money into a car that was so old. So that’s when he decided that it was time for a new car. He wanted an easier car buying experience than last time so he decided to start doing some research into a few different vehicles. After researching a few cars decided on the Chrysler 200 Touring. He decided that he didn’t want a car later than 2012. He also wanted it to do great on gas mileage because he drives over 45 minutes to work and back Monday through Friday. He also didn’t want to pay more than $300 a month for the car. Most importantly he wanted it to have more room since Tyler and Nishe’ are growing bigger and not smaller. Fortunately, we know someone who sells cars. His brother Dion Gilbert works at Hayes Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Lawrenceville. He called his brother up and told him what he was looking for. After some research, he called The Husband up and told him what he found. He actually was able to find us a 2014 Chrysler 200 Touring that suited all of The Husband’s requirements. The Husband was absolutely thrilled. Thursday he went in and closed the deal. When he brought it home I couldn’t wait to see it. It was simply beautiful and everything that The Husband wanted and more. He really liked the keyless entry and the power windows. Now I just wanted whatever he wanted because he drives more than I do. Nonetheless, I’m planning to gather some additional info about replacing our old garage doors. Now that there’s a new car in there, a little extra security wouldn’t hurt. Also, I do have some favorite things I like about the car.

1. The number one thing I like about the car is that THe Husband is happy. To see his smile is just fabulous!!

2. I love the Sirius satellite radio that comes with it for a year. Never had satellite before.

3. The fact that you can control the radio from the steering wheel and make phone calls as well.

4. I love the fact that these two can comfortably sit in the back and so can I. I’m sure that a couple car seats can fit in here too, for families with babies. There’s a good amount of space at the back!

6. I love the sound system of the radio.A sound system is very important to me. I like to listen to great music as I drive.

7. I love the cupholders in the backseat. The kids no longer have to bend over to reach. According to The Husband we won’t be testing these out anytime soon. At this point there is no eating or drinking allowed in the car. Ha ha ha!

Over all we are absolutely in love with this car. It is perfect for a family of 4 maybe 5. But definitely 4. There are so many pluses and I think The Husband did an absolutely great job choosing this car. It will definitely last us a few years.
