A few weeks ago The Husband and I had a much needed date. The kids had something to do and it was just us so we were like hey why not. The Husband found this place called the Java Jive. It is located near the Ponce City Market. I had never heard of it before and neither had he. I was game to try a new place.

When we got there we were immediately greeted by a nice waiter. He seated us near the window. We checked out the menu and both settled on a ham and cheese omelet. I had grits and he had homefries with his. We each had a soda. We didn’t wait long for our food at all. I love that. The waiter was very nice. He came and checked on us. The environment was so amazing. It encouraged us to put our phones down and talk with each other. It was so lovely to just talk to each other. The environment was very inviting. I totally recommend this for a morning date. The food was so delicious. I would definitely go back.
