Last Friday I attended my job’s talent expo. Every year for about eight weeks the kids at my jobs learn skills such as tumbling, cheer, dance, and basketball. At the end of the eight weeks there is a talent expo.
I love the talent expo for many reasons. I get to see all the kids’ hard work pay off and it is just a really fun night. But the main reason I love it is that it gives me a reason to dress up. I love getting dressed up. I’ve seen my friends dress up in such exotic designers as those featured in Ronny Kobo, but I don’t have any myself. I guess because I don’t get a chance to do it often. There’s something exciting about getting a chance to just be beautiful. Especially for special events. You get to hunt for the perfect outfit and then reveal it. I occasionally dress up because at home but not too often.
My main go to place for my outfits most times is Amazon. So that is where I headed to find my outfit for the talent expo this year. I looked for awhile before I settled on this beautiful black Yathon women’s vintage dress. It was black at the top and had polka dots on the bottom. I had some other dresses in mind but this dress kept catching my attention. I love the fact that it had pockets on it (which I forgot were there the night I actually wore the dress).
The day the dress arrived I was so excited to try it on. I did and it fit perfectly. The dress was super comfortable and it felt great against my skin. It looked really great on me. It wasn’t too long or too tight. I thought it really complimented me. One of my friends also suggested that I get one of those personalized jewelry to make my dress even more beautiful. I’m glad I found the perfect dress to wear to this event.
I made the dress looked even better with the accessories I précised to go with it. A simple pair of earrings, necklace, and bracelets. I looked around for a number of perfumes online too, so that I could find one that exudes just the right fragrance for the evening. It was fun! I really enjoyed wearing the dress. I got some really nice compliments.
This dress can be purchased on Amazon. I paid $36.00 for this dress. I think it was a really great deal. Especially since I wasn’t trying to pay a bunch of money. This dress made me feel amazing. It made for a great night.
