I received tickets to the Atlanta Fair in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions expressed are my own.
I am a Georgia native. I am born and raised here. Being here all my love you would think I have done everything but I totally haven’t. There are still some things here that I didn’t experience until I was much older. One of these things that I have never done was visit the Atlanta Fair. Yes you read that right this was my first time going to the Atlanta Fair.
This weekend my brother and I hit up the Atlanta Fair. This was both of our first time to attend. I really didn’t exactly know what to expect. I knew there wasn’t going to be any huge rides. I just didn’t know what types of rides to expect. It didn’t matter though I knew I was going to find something to ride. We started off by riding a mini rollercoaster called the Orient Express. It was such a cute ride for someone who didn’t like really big rollercoasters and also small kids. It was pretty fun. Then we rode on the carousel. I have always loved the carousel. After the carousel I rode on a ride that had chairs and rotated you around, a Ferris wheel ride, a ship ride, and a ride called The Sizzler. We did get some fair food. I had nachos and some lemonade and my brother had some corn dogs. After we ate we were a little cautious of the more challenging rides. A few of them made me wish I had waited to eat before seeing these rides. We also didn’t pay any of the individual games. But some looked fun to play. I almost played the one where you could win a goldfish but my brother talked me out of it.
The Atlanta Fair is a great place for families and individuals alike. It would be a cute date. We really had a great time. It was fun to just experience the fair. This is the last week of the fair. The last day is April 10th so get out there while you can.
