Ever since I started working again I’ve found that one thing I have had the hardest time doing is finding time to workout. At times, I even tend to find myself wondering why I do not live in a country like Scotland – they get fitness equipment delivered at home (yes! companies like Hirefitness are supplying treadmills to Scotland)! Ah! Nonetheless. recently I decided that it is time to get back into working out again. Working is just another excuse for me not to do it. Let me be honest I was barely doing it before I started working out again. I just want to be healthy. I’m going to kick myself for getting off the wagon. I’m just going to try to get back on it. There will be a lot of fitness support out there that I can access which is great nowadays, otherwise, I would be a little bit clueless! A friend of mine tried out something called Power Life and said that it helped her, but it is different for everyone so I’ll have to get my research fitness goggles on and see what may work for me and give it a try.
I thought that I would share how I plan on doing this. One of my friends recommended that I try going for a Wellness Retreat as it could help me gain more outlook on what needs to be done for my fitness journey. Anyway, I have some things in my arsenal that help me get moving when I am on it. Surprisingly most of them help me earn money and free gift cards. Others are just things that I enjoy using. So this is what I am using to get back on my fitness wagon:
YouTube- This is a great source of fitness videos. I love Fitnessblender and Pop Sugar.
Fitbit- I have a Fitbit. It’s the Fitbit Charge 2. It keeps me moving cause I always want to meet my 15,000 step goal. I also love that you can join groups and challenge other people to move.
Achievement- This app allows you to earn points that can be turned into cash for your daily physical activity. I have redeemed points for $10 on this app.
Sweatcoin- I just recently started using this app. Literally this past weekend. You can earn points that you can turn in for prizes such as an amazon gift card and cash. I can’t wait to see what I get my goal is to earn me some cash as always.
Sworkit- This is a great app. I use it to get in a quick workout. You use to be able to earn points on this app but it has since changed.
My goal is to be more active and healthy. So hopefully these things will continue to help me out. What keeps you on the fitness wagon?

Getting back in the swing of working out is difficult. I had no clue there were so many helpful apps. I need to get back in the swing of it. I’m going to download some of these apps.

I need to get back on the wagon, but after being off, and being dragged down the road, it’s hard getting back up. The best way to do it just to do it, I suppose. It’s awesome that you’re doing this!

I am so hard on myself when I fall off because it causes me to fall back into other old habits. So I’m trying to be good.

Kudos to you. During the warm months, I was doing a really good job with my Fitbit Challenge. I’ve fallen all the way off.

Awesome for YOU! I recently started working out on a more consistent basis since July I believe and last week during the holidays I didn’t go not one time and could tell the difference. I had no choice in missing and was quite upset about it. Luckily I was able to get one day in this week and hopefully tomorrow. If I could go everyday I would. It really replenishes me in mind, body and spirit. I will definitely check out some of these apps. Thanks for sharing…

Yeah I can tell the difference when I workout and when I don’t as well. I hate how I feel when I don’t workout.

Nice job getting back on the wagon, I’ve never heard of Sweatcoin. I will have to check it out and see if I can incorporate it into my plans.

So far I’m liking it. I can’t wait until I’m able to exchange my coins for something.

I agree that YouTube is a great tool for fitness videos. I get board so easily and YT keeps me on track.

Yes I love it! I find so many workouts that hold my attention. I get bored easily too.

I had no idea there are reward apps out there for fitness. Shows you how much I exercise huh? LOL!! I’m in the same boat of getting my body back under control. For me, it’s been being a SAHM that has caused me to fall off the wagon. I feel like I did more when I worked a corporate job.
