One of my favorite things to do is to read. So I am challenging myself to read at least one book a month and share it with you all. In fact I just finished reading a book. I loved it so I can’t wait to share it with you. I read a variety of books so you never know what book I may be sharing. So let’s get to it. The book I just finished reading is called “The Stranger I Married”. This book is not for readers under the age of 16. It contains some adult content. This book is written by Sylvia Day. This book tells the story of Pel & Gray. They are both scarred from past relationships so decide that a marriage of convenience is best for them. But then a tragedy happens to one of Gray’s former loves. He leaves to deal with the situation. When he returns he is a different man than Pel knew before he left. Now Gray & Pel have to figure out how to make their relationship work with the new Gray and the ghosts in their pasts.
It took me awhile to get into this book because it’s set back in the 1800’s and it’s set in London. However once I got used to the way they speak it was pretty much smooth sailing. I really enjoyed reading about how they figure things out. Their relationship it is an interesting one. It is full of meddling family members. Cause of course there are some people who would love to see them fail. There are a few funny moments in the book. There were definitely moments when I thought that they weren’t going to make it. I just really enjoy a good story. I think that if you are into unconventional love stories then this book is definitely for you. Sometimes it’s not how you start it’s how you finish.
