Two weeks ago I signed up to be apart of the Maggi So Juicy Campaign through Bzz Agent. I haven’t had a campaign in a while and ironically I have been looking for something similar to this for a minute. For some reason I had suddenly remembered my mom cooking chicken in a bag when I was a kid and couldn’t for the life of me remember the name of it. Then literally the very next day I got this campaign.
The Maggi SO Juicy has a variety of flavors. I was sent Garlic and Tomato, Mediterranean herb Medley, and Italian Countryside Herb. Last night I tried Garlic and Tomato and Mediterranean Herb Medley. I actually mixed the two. I was only going to try Garlic and Tomato but when my enlisted helper Princess S started to shake the bag it didn’t seem to be spreading all over the pieces of chicken I had in the bag. Oh yeah that reminds me. This is so easy to make there are only 3 steps besides cleaning your chicken:
1. place your chicken in the bag.
2. Add your seasoning.
3. Shake.
Once your chicken is coated to your liking you place in your oven on 350 degrees for an hour. Princess S and I thought it would be best to add another packet to our chicken so that we would have our chicken nicely coated. We like a lot of flavor in this house. Ince we had our chicken coated to our liking we placed it in the oven and waited. We couldn’t wait to taste the chicken.
Well I couldn’t and neither could Private J. Unfortunately a few minutes after we finished Princess S announced she was feeling well then she went to bed and didn’t wake up until this morning. When the chicken was done I immediately opened it up. It smelled so delicious. Private J said that it was delicious and that he would eat it again. I would too. It had a nice flavoring to it. It wasn’t too strong or too light. Another thing even though I thought it wasn’t enough it is amazing how it spreads out in the oven. It was definitely juicy. You taste the flavor as soon as you bite it. I totally plan on buying this again. Eating it brought back so many memories. I really enjoyed it.
Before Princess S got sick I talked her into recording a video with her in action of shaking the chicken. I even got words. This kid hates the camera so this is a total accomplishment for me. Hope you enjoy:

How does this compare to the Knorr version of seasoning in a bag?
I’ve never tried Knorr’s version. I’m going to see if I can find it in the store so I can compare
