All of us have seen what is going on in the news. The death of George Floyd and numerous of other black men here in the United States has brought the conversation of race to the forefront of everyone’s minds. I definitely know it has been on my mind. I am the mother of a young black man, wife to a black man, daughter of a black man, sister to two black men, and the list goes on. Yesterday my husband and I went to a restaurant. As we were sitting down to eat I started to pay attention to the way I eat. I got to a point where I was full so I stopped eating. Then a few minutes later I started eating again. I wasn't really hungry I just was eating. I stopped eating. Not even five minutes later my hand was back in the bag. For over a year now I have been trying to make it over to this restaurant called Slutty Vegan. I have heard nothing but good things about this restaurant. It's a vegan restaurant hear in Atlanta. I first heard about it on a popular radio station. I'm going to be honest the name was first thing that attracted me to the place. I like a restaurant with a catchy name.
