About two years ago after grocery shopping at a local grocery store with my family. We did what everyone else did when you grocery shop. The Chipex Paint Repair System was launched in 2009. It’s intended purpose is to help car owners save on costly paint touchup jobs. Instead of going to an auto shop and pay for labor as well the paint job we are able to do it ourselves at home. This was a great idea to me because I want to keep as much money in my pocket as possible. Plus I was ready to just get rid of the scratches on our car even though they are barely noticeable. You have to get up close to the car to see them. But I knew they were there and it kind of bothered me.

Of course, there are other alternatives to getting rid of these ungainly dents and dings such as taking the help of the the best PDR in San Antonio (or wherever it is that you are located). Besides being more cost effective, not to mention cheaper than insurance excess, paintless dent removal can repair varying size of dents. But the same could be said of DIY solutions like Chipex.

I ordered my Chipex 0n a Monday. To order is really easy you simply enter the type of car you have and the color. Then the website will handle everything from there. It will tell you what type of paint they are sending you. I received my Chipex two weeks later. This is because the company is based in the United Kingdom so it takes a little longer for me to receive it. That weekend I put the Chipex on the car. The whole process from beginning to end took about 45 minutes. What I liked about Chipex right away was how everything was included. I also liked how easy the instructions are to follow. Everything is labeled.

1. First you clean the area where you want to make the paint repair. Make sure it is completely dry.
2. Then you apply the paint that is provided to you in the Chipex Paint Chip Repair System kit. Let it dry from 1-20 minutes. Since it was warm out it took the paint on our car about 10 minutes to dry.
3. After you apply the paint you let it dry and then apply the blend. The blend helps to make sure that the paint blends in with the rest of the paint on your car.
4. The last step is for you to polish the paint.

For is the results turned out great! When we finished we couldn’t even tell where the scratches were and it blended it in perfectly. The Husband was really happy with it. Cause you know the car has to look good. Chipex lived up to exactly what it said that it would do. It gave us great results. I liked how easy it was to apply and how it didn’t take too long. I really loved the money that I saved by being able to do it myself. To pay a lot of money to get something so minor fixed is not worth it to me.

We really liked this product as well. It helped us to be able to see when we got some rain just the other day. Things were a bit clearer. I didn’t have to keep the windshield wipers going as much. I felt safer since I had it applied. Being able to see is definitely important. We had some really hard rain a few weeks ago that came with a tornado warning. It helped my husband to be able to navigate the roads more safely than he normally would. So I was really glad to have it at that time. When a tornado warning comes into effect it is important for everyone to take that seriously and not be on the roads, however, not everyone has that option so we are just glad that everyone was okay! Especially as homes and buildings can get seriously damaged in extreme weather and the need for Macomb commercial roofers and others like it, are essential in case of extensive destruction.
