I’m back with another review for you guys from the company Meat District. As I said before I was sent these products to review. This time I am reviewing their beer brined chicken party wings. Everything else has been so good. You can find the other reviews on my blog. I couldn’t wait to give these wings a try. I just had to figure out what I wanted to do with them. I didn’t want this meal to take too long to cook so I really had to think about it.
After some thought I decided to cook the wings in some cream of mushroom soup and bake them in the oven on 375 for an hour. I seasoned them with old bay seasoning, garlic powder, and oregano. I decided that I would do a mixture of potatoes, green beans, and pinto beans as a side. I cooked those in cream of mushroom soup as well. I cooked those for a good 15-20 minutes because I wanted to make sure that I could taste the cream of mushroom soup in both the meat and the vegetables. Now I was a little concerned about the alcohol in the chicken wings. I am not a drinker. However after reviewing the package and seeing that there was only 9% beer in the chicken wings and talking to a friend I decided to give it a try.
Now let’s get to this review. These chicken wings are so good. The combination of the cream of mushroom soup along with the taste of the beer it went really well together. Honestly you don’t really taste the beer at all. I thought the wings cooked very well and had plenty of meat on the bone. The flavor was really interesting to me. They went well with my side dish. I think I really would try these again. You can cook these wings many ways and wind up just enjoying them. They are really worth trying. These wings could really take your meal to the next level.
