I want to thank Home Chef for providing me with the makings and recipe for this wonderful meal. Last night I cooked my first meal out of the meals I received from Home Chef. I chose to make the Creamy Mushroom and Sausage Pasta meal. I chose this meal first because I love pasta and thought this would be a great way to start things off.

Creamy Mushroom and Sausage Pasta is really easy to make. Well now it is now that I know how to make it. What I loved immediately is that all the ingredients are provided for me. I also like that you are provided with a notebook where you can keep your recipes. Each recipe has the ingredients that they send and then it tells you what you need to have on your own. For example you have to have your own oil. I love how detailed the recipe cards are. you can follow picture by picture and read. It also of course tells you how long it will take to cook each meal.

I really like how simple it is to follow the recipe. It was really easy. So easy in fact that my daughter who helped me and I were able to talk while she did one part and I did another.

It was so much fun to just cook and bond with my daughter. It seemed like the time to prep the meal just flew by. Before we knew it, it was time to eat. I couldn’t wait to taste this meal. It looked real good. My daughter and I absolutely loved it. Yes the girl who claims she does not like mushroom loved the meal. She said that she would eat it again. Oh and did I mention she isn’t a fan of sausage either. She gobbled it up. When my son came home from band practice he loved it too. He is like his sister doesn’t like sausage or mushrooms either. He even had seconds. Home Chef’s Creamy Mushroom and Sausage Pasta meal was a big hit with my family. I can’t wait to taste the next meal. I am really looking forward to it. I never would’ve thought up this meal on my own.
