This post is sponsored. I was given opportunity to preview a episode of the new television series expecting. All opinions expressed are my own.
I had my first child when I was 19 years old. Now she will soon be 18. I actually wish that I had documented my pregnancy more. I look back at pictures and I don’t really have any pictures from that moment. I still remember my journey but I just wish I had more documentation of it. I have been thinking about this more since watching the new UP TV series Expecting. This newest series Expecting premiered last Friday on the UP Tv Network. The show follows couples and their pregnancy journey. It shows all their highs and lows. The whole series is filmed by the couples themselves. There are no producers or anything. We get to see raw footage of all their emotions.
I had the pleasure of watching the first episode of the second half of the first season. The first episode follows the journey of 2 couples. The first couple is Jen & Dan who are in a long distance relationship. They have been trying to conceive for 14 months. The distance makes their dreams of becoming parents difficult. They get the news that they desire soon. So that they can be together for the pregnancy Jen moves up north. Then there is Sande & Julian. They are a couple who live in the Midwest. Their fun-loving lifestyle changes when they get shocking news.
I really enjoyed following both of these couples stories. They were really genuine and fun. I really felt like I was on their journey with them. I love the fact that their story was completely from their view point. I enjoyed their funny moments and the moments of when they were scared. I thought each couple was cute in their own way. My favorite couple out of the two was Julian & Sande. They seemed to be so much fun. Jen & Dan’s story was so touching. I really liked how both couples connected with each other. This show is really great. Catch expecting every Friday at 9p.m.
