I am so absolutely proud of myself. I have completed a month of working out. Well technically twenty-seven days. three days I didn’t work out. But it’s no biggie everyone can take a break every once in a while. It only becomes a problem when you your breaks become longer and longer until you aren’t working out at all. I actually had to convince myself that it was okay to not workout those days. I think I am just scared that if I take those days I am not going to workout the next day. But I realize that if I push myself I can do it.
This month I have been doing a mixture of hiking, walking, YouTube videos, and workout apps on my phone. I have been challenging myself to make my steps on my Fitbit. I have moved my daily step goal from 10,000 to 15,000 to challenge myself. I have learned so much about myself.
What I’ve Learned:
- I can do this. I have been pretty dedicated and so far I am doing good so far.
- This is a day by day goal.
- Sometimes what the scale says doesn’t matter. I haven’t been able to use my scale because I need batteries for it so I haven’t been obsessing over numbers.
- The biggest thing is I love hiking. My family and I have been finding great places to hike. Our most recent adventures was to Panola Mountain State Park & Rope Mill Park. They both have great hiking trails and beautiful views.
Right now I am feeling great about what I have accomplished so far. My ultimate goal is to eventually go back to Amicalola Falls and conquer that hike. It absolutely kicked my butt. Hopefully by the time we go back I will be in great shape to do it.
How are you doing on your goals so far for 2016

That’s nice! My new year’s resolution was to exercise at least 3x a week… I am just wondering if that’s gonna be in 2017 though. LOL!
