Last week was a really good week for me. I feel like I was able to focus on some things that I have been planning on focusing on for awhile. I’m still working on focusing on myself.
One of my goals last week was to not go over my calories. I tend to go over my calories at least once a week so I wanted to work on not doing that. I made a conscious effort to make sure that my meals were within my calorie limit which is usual 1,290 but it increases when I exercise. My goal was to end the day with over 100 calories. I planned out my meals and it worked. One thing that really helped be was to input my meals in my Myfitnesspal app before eating. Then I was able to see what I was going to eat before eating and make a sound decision. I was so proud of myself when I found out I stuck to my goal. Now I’m hoping to do the same this week. I also have been working on not eating late. I unfortunately failed that. But the upside was that the food that I ate was healthy and not sweet. I did have sweets last week but I surprised myself by not over indulging. I actually only ate one donut. I was shocked when it happened. Cause just weeks ago I would’ve been eating more than 1. I’m just proud that I’m adjusting to this new way of thinking. I also started doing cardio again. I now know I need to add more abdominal workouts. I did a workout and my abs burned for 3 days. But I was proud I finished the workout.
Right now I’m really feeling good about my health. It’s motivating me to stay on this path and not give up. I’m going to wait to get on the scale.
