I’m a bit late on my fitness update. I think I did okay last week. I noticed that on days when I didn’t exercise is when my calorie intake struggled. I need to work on staying within my limits. My weakness is my late night snacks. What I need to do is stop them or not have any at all if I’m not within my calories or haven’t exercised at all. I’m hoping to do better. I came to that this conclusion this week. So expect a few calorie overages next week.
One thing I have yet to figure out is how to incorporate healthier eating into my food budget. We have a set budget and very rarely go above it or below it. I also want to know how to do this so that I can cook different recipes as well. I have two pinterest folders filled with great recipes but have yet to cook them because I haven’t figured out how to fit them into our budget. I did manage to find healthier ways to cook the food I already know how to cook. Things like buying the best air fryer I can find instead of frying things in fat can easily be done. I want to use fresh ingredients but when I start to grab ingredients I can’t figure out how to fit in. I’m hoping to figure it out soon.
How I am feeling? As I get further into my journey. I am beginning to feel better about the things I am doing. I am not forcing myself to do more than I think I can but I push myself to finish what I started. So if I start a video my goal is to finish it. I take advantage of the moments I feel like exercising. I mean I immediately jump on it cause if I don’t I never will. So I am definitely feeling good at the moment.

I understand the good eating on a budget. It’s also tough to make it better eating when feeding the others in the family too. They don’t always coincide. Do what you can as you can and know that next time you’ll be able to more. 🙂
