This post is a week late. With the weather warming up here in Georgia I thought that it would be a great idea to share some of Georgia’s parks that my family and I love to go to. Our kids are older but they still like to park hop with us especially when they are hanging out with their little cousins. Last weekend we took them and their cousins to Wills Park. This park is located in Alpharetta, Georgia. We actually went to this park last year after The Husband spotted it as he rode by on delivery for his job. My kids love this park and now their cousins love it too. One of my favorite things about this park is the way it is built. On the outside, it looks like a huge castle. Basically a kids paradise. I can see why so many people from our area are moving to Alpharetta, the town is just so nice!
See doesn’t this park just scream come and play. The kids were gone in less than 5 seconds. They were all over the place. I mean I literally had no idea who to chase after so I stuck with my youngest nephew until he ditched me. Now this isn’t just a playground they have a lot of activities going on. When we went there were 3 different baseball games going on. My nephews and Tyler got a kick out of watching these games. We didn’t watch the whole game but long enough for my nephews to say they want to play. They’re now asking me if they can join a kid’s baseball team and I think it’s a great idea. I’ve already bought them some baseball training nets for them to practise with but I’m sure they’ll get the hang of it pretty quickly. They’ll probably be playing proper games in this park in a couple of weeks! If baseball isn’t your thing, the park offers many other things as well –
-walking trails
-swimming pool
-dog park
-tot playground
-equestrian center
-recreation center
We have been to this park twice and we have yet to cover everything. I think we will be back many more times as the weather warms up. In the meantime here are some of the kids favorite things about the park:
I hope to share more parks with you in coming weeks. Some are going to be parks from last year. Just want to share some of these gorgeous and fun parks.
Hope you visit this one.
