I received free entry into Six Flags White Water in exchange for covering this event. All opinions are my own.
This weekend my daughter Nishe’, niece Brianna, and I headed to Six Flags White Water to try out their new ride the Wahoo Racer. Wahoo Racer is the newest ride at the park. It is 60 feet tall and allows for a maximum of six people to race down head first at speeds up to 40 feet per second. We were so excited to give this ride a try. It looked like so much fun watching other people. My niece and daughter couldn’t wait to have their turn. First chance they got they snatched up the mats for sliding down and got in line. This is a very popular ride so it took a minute before they got a chance to come down. When they finally came down they had the biggest smiles on their faces. Nishe’ beat Brianna coming down. When I asked them their opinion they said that they loved the ride. I wanted to see if it was as fun as they said it was so I went to give it a try. Because there are six tunnels the line moves a little bit quicker although the line is long. I was up to the top in I would say maybe 5 minutes. I went down the ride and had a blast. I love the twists and turns. I just wished it lasted a little longer but love the speed. It was definitely worth the wait.
After riding the ride we tried out some other rides in the park. We rode the Dragon’s Tail, the Bahama Bob Slide, Lilypad Crossing, The Atlanta Ocean Wave Pool, and Little Hooch River. The girls said that the Wahoo Racer and Dragon’s Tail were their favorite. The food at Six Flags White Water was good as well. I loved their teriyaki chicken strips. It was a great fun filled day. I hope to go back soon and experience some of the other rides. There were a few that I didn’t get a chance to check off my list this go round. I definitely recommend giving the Wahoo Racer a try.
