I’ve been a lover of Head & Shoulders for as long as I can remember. As a person who has dealt with having a dry scalp and dandruff all my life I need a product that will help fight it. I’ve tried different brands if shampoo and conditioners but Head & Shoulders is the product that seemed to work the best.
I went natural 9 years ago. Ever since then my dandruff has gone away but I still deal with dry scalp since my hair soaks up moisture. So I have to make sure that I use products that keeps my hair moist and my hair doesn’t soak up. Because of this I had to let go of Head & Shoulders because it no longer did the job that I needed it to because I no longer was getting perms. I wasn’t happy about it but I did it.
I’m happy to say now Head & Shoulders can rejoin my life. Head & Shoulders now has a product made especially for textured hair. It’s called Head & Shoulders For Textured Hair. I was so thrilled. Because although I’ve found some great products I still really like Head & Shoulders. I was recently asked to review the new Head & Shoulders product. I of course jumped at the chance. The new Head & Shoulders for textured hair line includes a shampoo /conditioner combo, Co-wash, and scalp soother. I used it this past Friday. It was really easy to use. You shampoo first, then Co-wash, and then finally use the scalp soother as you style your hair.
When everything was done I was amazed at how soft my hair was after it dried. The next day I took my hair down for a twist out so I could attend my son’s band jamboree (post coming soon). I was out in the sun all day and at the end of the day I touched my hair and it was still soft and not dried out at all. I will totally be using this again. I really love the results. I have absolutely no complaints. Except I’m not looking forward to it running out.

It has a nice smell to it. I like it. Not overpowering at all.
