As I get more into makeup I am starting to see what my preferences are. For example I know I do not want anyone to be able to immediately tell that I am wearing makeup. So the makeup I wear has to match my skin perfectly or close to it. So I am working on finding foundations that do just that. That’s why I am glad I was asked to review Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick and Hourglass Vanish Foundation Brush by Influenster.

I have always accepted my skin for what it is. My face is unevenly toned and I have spots from childhood scars, pimples, and mosquito bites. I struggled with it in high school but not too much now. To me my skin is what it is. However as I start to wear makeup more often I have come to appreciate being able to cover them up on occasion. It’s not that I am ashamed of them I just like looking different.

When I got the Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick the first thing I did was see if it matched my skin. It was easy to do since it is in stick form. I drew a line across my hand to see if it matched and it did. I was super thrilled. Cause it is kind of hard to find a foundation that matches with my skin. This was a great match. By the Foundation being in stick form you don’t have to worry about it opening and spilling out into your purse like liquid foundation can do. I like that it is easy to carry around and can easily slip in your pocket.

The Hourglass Vanish Foundation Brush helped me to make sure that I spread the foundation over my face evenly. I love this brush. It was really soft and did a great job of spreading the foundation out and making it even. I loved how I looked when I finished. To me you could barely tell I had anything on. I sent a picture to my husband and he couldn’t tell either. He was amazed when I told him later.
