As a kid I used to wish for a lot of things. When I said what I wished in front of my mom she used to say “wish in one hand, poop in the other and see which one fills the fastest”. When I was a kid I didn’t understand what she meant. Now as an adult I understand it and I find it quite funny. She simply meant that you can wish for a lot of things but you will not always get it. Now that I think about it what she said does have some kind of truth to it. Living in this day and age where everything is so expensive where as when we were younger things were much cheaper. There are tons of things that we wish for that we just aren’t going to be able to get. I often wish that I could spend a day living the life of someone who lives in a $200,000.oo home like the one in the picture up above opposed to a home that is $70,000.00. What would it be like to have 2700 sq. ft. of house to do what I want with. Give my kids more space to run around and just enjoy themselves. More bathrooms to where we don’t exactly have to wait on anyone to take a shower. Maybe even a personal shower space with fancy decor and design-like these Equalis Luxury Glass Shower Doors from GlassCrafters for example! I can almost see the glass fogging up with steam as I take a nice, hot, shower. When I was a kid I remember waiting for my brothers to come out of the bathroom. We had two and a half bathrooms but only two had tubs and showers. My parents had one and then we shared the other. It was a race to take a shower. I just wonder what it would be like to have a house like that and be free of financial worry. I never knew what my parents meant when they said we live paycheck to paycheck until I became an adult and had my own responsibilities to take care of like bills and providing for my kids. Now I wish I had taken my time growing up and enjoyed being a kid more. That is what I am telling my kids now. Don’t be in a rush to grow up and become in adult. That they should enjoy being kids. That their time to be an adult will come. I also let them know that wishes take action. Sometimes the only way that your wishes will come true is if you make them come true. Which means of course you have to be willing to do the work that is needed.
