I can’t believe that April is already almost over. This month has been a really good one so far. I feel like this year is really flying by. I mean we are already on the 4th month of 2023. So let’s do a quick recap of the month so far.
I’ll be honest the only major thing that has happened is I have turned a year older. I am now 42 years old. This was the best birthday ever. I really felt loved and thought of. I received some great gifts. I got a laptop desk, a robe, slippers, tablet holder, a puzzle with a picture of our family, a book shelf, and a pair of earrings. I’m almost positive I’m forgetting something. But just no it was amazing! The Husband surprised me with tickets to the Hawks game! I was so surprised and super excited. I have always wanted to experience a live basketball game and he made it possible. It was an absolute amazing experience. They really keep the crowd entertained in between half time and time outs. I would love to go again. That is one sports event off my bucket list. Now I have two more a baseball game and a football game.
I also took a step towards getting my teeth worked on. I got a tooth extracted. It is a start but I have to do the next steps. I really want to be able to smile again. The dentist makes me so nervous. Also I’m hearing words like braces. I feel like I’m too old for braces but I have to do what I have to do to reach my goal. I’m just proud I started.
Can you believe it’s spring? Unfortunately at haven’t been able to ride our bikes just yet. Our last bike ride was in March. There was a group bike ride planned for April but it rained both times. So hopefully we will get one in soon. I attempted one the weekend prior to the one that just passed but lost my momentum when I realized I hadn’t charged my bike. I wasn’t happy about that at all. I believe I’m ready for this warm weather.
