La La Land Mommy: Rimmel London Product Review
Today I will be reviewing three Rimmel London products that came in my Influenster #ModaVoxBox. The products are Rimmel London’s Scandal Eyes Rockin’ Curves Mascara, Moisture Renew Transparent lip liner, and moisture renew nude delight lipstick. I am not a person who wears makeup. I have been wanting to try some out though. So when I received these products in my voxbox I was thrilled. I tried the products a few days later.
The first product I started with was the Scandalous Eyes Rockin’ Curves. This is actually my second time using Rimmel London’s mascara. The first time was pretty funny because I had no idea how to use it. This time I did a little better. The Scandalous Eyes Rockin’ Curves mascara is meant to curve your lashes so that they are lifted and plumped with only one stroke of the applicator. When I applied the mascara to my eyes I could really tell the difference. My lashes appeared to be longer than before and much more thicker. I thought it made my eyes stand out more than they did before and I loved that. I think it would be interesting to test it next to another mascara like Xlash. Having a comparable product to do a direct comparison between would be interesting. I could figure out which suits me better. But for now, I have pictures below of the Scandalous Eyes Rockin’ Curves before and after.

Next I tried the Rimmel London Moisture renew lipstick and lip liner. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing in this area. I haven’t worn lipstick since I tried to sneak it in middle school. Then I would only wear the lipstick. No lip liner. First thing I did was apply the lip liner. This lip liner is clear so there is really know way to show you how it is applied. I just followed the outline of my lip. The purpose of this lip liner is to define your lips and help to keep your lipstick in place. After I put on the lip liner I then put on the moisture renew lipstick. The color is nude delight. Okay I’m going to be honest I’m not a fan of the color of this lipstick. Since I have a darker skin tone it did not match my skin at all. I was not happy with this. But I will say that I could barely tell that the lipstick was on my lips and they did not feel like they were dried out at all . I kept it on for a few hours. The Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick is suppose to keep your lips from drying out and give them a burst of color. I can say that all though the color didn’t match my skin it really did stand out. One of my friends got her lips done the other week by a plastic surgeon like David Shokrian and honestly with lipstick on her lips are totally gorgeous! I don’t think lip filler is for me but if it is something you think you could be interested in then I can vouch that your lips should look fabulous. I wasn’t happy with the outcome of the lipstick but it was fun to try something new. I like the fact that it kept my lips moist and the color did stand out. I am just the type of person who likes my makeup to blend with my natural features. So I may try to find a color that does that.
