I am so excited to introduce this book to you my readers. I can’t wait to begin reading it. Anyone who knows me knows that one of my most favorite things to do is to read. So when the opportunity to read this book came up I jumped on it. Especially after I found out more about the author’s journey to write and publish this book. That made it a must that I get my hands on this book. Now let me introduce this book to you so I can get back to reading it and then share my review with you all.
The name of this book is called “After”. This book tells the story of Tessa. She is a good girl who has a great boyfriend who is sweet & reliable waiting for her at home. Her mom wants to keep her the daughter that she raised with direction and ambition. However Tessa’s life changes when she meets a man named Hardin. Hardin is a handsome young man with brown eyes, a British accents, tattoos, lip ring, and is very cocky and rude. Despite his rude and cocky attitude Tessa is being drawn in by Hardin. She wants to learn more about him and why he is continuously pushing her away. That is just a short description of the book doesn’t it make you just want to dive into reading it. I am super excited to get started reading it.
Now it is time to tell you more about the author Anna Todd. Anna Todd is a 25 year old woman who resides in Texas with her husband who she married one month after graduating high school. She had no plans of becoming an author. Her life was a busy one. Her husband served three deployments in Iraq and she worked a number of odd jobs from working at a makeup counter to working at a IRS processing center. It wasn’t until 2013 that Anna decided to combine her love of reading and One Direction to write the book After on Wattpad a free social reading and writing app.

To date it has connected over 40 million people around the world who love to read and write. This app allows you to share the stories that you have written either over the phone or your computer whether you are online or not. This app also has a social aspect to it as well. People are able to make plot suggestions to authors whether they are writers or not. You can post a chapter at a time or all at once. In fact Anna Todd has written three other books using Wattpad as well. The three books are After We Collided, After We Fell, and After Ever Happy.
