The other day I was in the kitchen trying to find something to eat and couldn’t figure out what I wanted. I knew I wanted some pasta but I didn’t want my usual spaghetti so I decided to try something new. I decided to make some Italian sausage alfredo. This was simply because I had some Italian sausage in my fridge. This meal took me about 45 minutes to make.
- I started off by cooking my Italian sausage and cutting it up.
- After I cooked and cut up my Italian sausage I then cooked my vegetables which was my staple green pepper, onion, and tomatoes. I threw them in the skillet and sautéed them.
- I then combined the vegetables and Italian sausage along with a jar of alfredo sauce (I might try making it from scratch next time I make it.).
- While I was making the sauce my daughter was making the pasta. We used the veggie pasta that we got from Full Cart. Unbeknownst to me also had vegetables in it.
- I felt more vegetables were needed so at the last minute I decided to throw in some broccoli
It turned out to be a really good and delicious. It last maybe 2 hours after I finished cooking it. My kids said I should definitely make it again.
