A few months ago Kroger had their Taste of Mexico campaign. I must say I really enjoyed it. I though that it was so much fun. Thanks to Bzzagent I was given the opportunity to participate in it. I was excited to participate. Especially since my children and I have been having fun experimenting with new foods as of late. I couldn’t wait to try this.
We started our adventure in Mexican cuisine with Kroger’s Beef barbacoa. I asked the children what they wanted and they said they wanted some burritos. So that’s what we went with. I allowed them to help me in the kitchen. They have come to love being the kitchen with me and I love having them in there with me. Plus I wasn’t complaining because I love burritos and they were quick and easy. So that’s what we made. We had kind of an assembly line. Nishe’ browned the meat, Tyler put it on the burrito, and I rolled them. We had a little cheese and then we ate. I think they turned out great! See!
The next thing we tried was Kroger’s pork steak fajita meat. We tried this mixed with rice. I split it in half so one part I mixed with rice and the other part I used for you guessed it burritos. I wish I had taken pictures of the rice dish. But I do have pictures of the burrito. I combined this with another campaign. You may recognize it from the Chobani yogurt campaign I did a few weeks ago. It was so delicious! My kids and I enjoyed it to the fullest.
As you can see we really enjoyed participating in the Kroger Taste of Mexico campaign. Did you participate? What dishes did you make?
