The Husband as recently started to despise plastic shopping bags. Well actually he hasn’t liked them for awhile. I can sympathize with him. They really can be a hassle when you think about it. You come in from the grocery store you then have to put away the groceries and then you have to do something with the bags. I used to keep the bags and then use them for various reasons. Trash bags in smaller trash cans, we used them to clean out our cats’ litter, and there were so many other uses. But they are definitely annoying. So recently The Husband switched us to reusable bags. They have been a lifesaver. You basically just go shopping, come home put the groceries, and then you just put your bags away. I admit I was reluctant at first because I was wondering how we were going to replace everything we used to use the plastic bags for. But I eventually got used to it. Now I actually wish we had switched sooner.
Since starting to use reusable bags I find myself looking for other types of bags to use. We only had the ones The Husband bought from the grocery stores that we visited. They were okay but if I am going to use reusable bags I want to have some cute ones as well and different colors. I didn’t know where to start looking. But I kept my eye out for some. One day I checked my email and there was an email from Lotus Trolley Bag asking if I wanted to review their bags. I clicked on the link they provided and looked at the bags. Once I got a look at them I knew we had to get them.
I liked the color. You get 4 bags in 4 different colors. The colors are purple, aquamarine, blue, and beige. I also liked that the bags came with a bar where you could hook them to the inside of the shopping cart. That kept the bags open. You can aso connect the bags together with the velcro that’s on them. This allows the bags to stay open which allows us to easily put the groceries in the bags. When you are just walking through the store and aren’t ready for the bags you can either carry them on your arm or hook them to the front of the cart. But my favorite part is the storage after you put the groceries away. You can just put all the bags together and roll them up and then put them in your desired location.
I really enjoyed using these bags and will be using them all the time from now on. They are really worth the money. Lotus trolley bags are machine washable. The bars can be removed. There is a cooler bag and also there is a bag that has storage for eggs along with storage for wine bottles or in our case water bottles since we do not consume alcohol.
