I received a free download of this album for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
I have been a huge fan of Mary J. Blige for as long as I can remember. I’ve been hooked since hearing her first single “You Remind Me” on the radio in 1992. I was young then but I knew it was a great song. I didn’t know the meaning behind it or anything. Ever since then I have made it my business to get my hands on each one of her albums. None of her albums have ever disappointed me. As I grew older I began to be able to relate to a lot of her music. I remember listening to her song “Not Gon’ Cry” while mourning the end of an adolescent relationship which at the time I thought it was the most devastating thing I would ever go through. Boy was I wrong. So in my head Mary J. Blige and I have been through a lot together. When I heard about her album The London Sessions coming out I knew I was going to get it. I was so thrilled when the opportunity to review this album came up.
Mary J. Blige does not disappoint this a point on her album The London Sessions. There are so many great songs on this album that I really don’t have a single favorite. The whole album is on point. But if I had to choose my top 4 favorites I would say they are:
1. Therapy
2.Whole Damn Year
3.Worth My Time
4. Long Hard Look
These 3 songs really stand out to me. I think I can relate to them the most. But I truly love the whole album. I have listened to it multiple times since I got it. I wouldn’t expect anything less of Mrs. Mary. In fact as I type this post I am listening to the album yet again.
Mary J. Blige: The London Sessions will be available for purchase on Dec. 2, 2014. You can pre-order your copy now at Amazon for $9.99 . Checkout her video for her single Therapy below:

Yes! She never disappoints me. I don’t have an album that she has done that I disliked.
