We received free entry for this event in exchange for our opinions. All opinions are our own.
This past weekend Nishe’ and I had the opportunity to visit Stone Mountain Park for their Snow Mountain. This was our first time doing the Snow Mountain activities. We were both excited. We had heard some great things about this event so we were totally ready to experience it ourselves.
We started our day with a trip down the slides. We went down with a fellow blogger who also happens to be my sister-in-law since it was just the two of us. Nishe’ enjoyed herself so much that she and my niece decided to go back down by themselves. They were both a little disappointed cause while they enjoyed the ride down they wanted to go together but Nishe’ wound up being released maybe a second or two behind my niece.
After going down the slide we headed over to the play area for young children where the kids were able to play in the snow. The kids really seemed to enjoy this especially my nephew. It was really fun seeing the kids have fun. There is also a fort for the children to play in and mini slides for kids under the age of 5.
After playing in the snow for awhile we walked around. We wound up going inside a candy shop that can be found inside the park. We looked at the delicious candy they had to offer. Then Nishe’ and her cousin decorated some cookies. I think we will be doing this again when we go back to the park cause Nishe’ seemed to really like it.
We ended our Snow Mountain adventure with a meal that was provided by Stone Mountain for the bloggers who attended. We had some great food. They had frozen popcorn, hot chocolate, and some other great food. It was such a great day.
If you want to attend Snow Mountain Park’s Snow Mountain head on over there. It runs until February 22nd. I think it is great for kids of all ages.
