It’s March. Time for a whole new month of goals. I have been kind of setting monthly goals for awhile but really haven’t been sharing them. So I figured this month I would share them with you all. I’ll tell you why I’m choosing the goals that I am choosing as well. At the end of the month I’ll tell you which goals I’ve accomplished and which ones I haven’t.
Lose five pounds :
This goal is pretty obvious. I really want to be healthier. It’s not really about the number on the scale but a number keeps me motivated. Back in November I lost a great deal of weight. Once I started working again I gained it all back. So now I want to lose it again. I just want to feel good about myself.
Finish reading at least two books:
I still want to get back into reading. I’m currently reading one book but it’s taking me awhile to finish it. So I want to finish that one and read one more. Reading allows me take some time for myself.
Find a new recipe to cook:
I just want to expand my world a little more. I also enjoy cooking. So I really want to try a new recipe. Last month I tried crab cakes. I failed horribly at first cause I made them like salmon cakes but I tried them again and got them right. I was really proud of myself. So I really want to try something else.
Plan a date for The Husband and I:
I’m beginning to get the hang of plan dates for The Husband and I. I try to find things that we have never done before or something one of us experienced but we do it together. A few months back we did axe throwing and recently we did pottery painting. So I can’t wait to find our next adventure.
Journal more:
I really want to get back into journaling. A good brain dump really takes a load off my shoulders. Also seeing my thoughts helps me figure things out. So instead of caring everything around I can put it in n in my journal. So for my mental health I want to make sure I take care of myself.
I can’t wait to see how many of these goals I can accomplish this month. No pressure on myself. I hope to share what I accomplish with you all.
