I have had my treadmill for a few weeks now. I have done a few walking challenges. I have completed them and I am so proud of myself. I have been pretty consistent with it. Knowing it is in the house gives me the motivation to get up and workout as often as I can. But my main reason for me getting it is that I want to be able to jog. That’s something that I really want to.
In order to accomplish my goal a few weeks ago I started to do workouts that will get me on the path o running. I really thought I could just get on the treadmill and run but I tried it a few times and it just didn’t work for me. I didn’t last long at all because I couldn’t regulate my breathing. So rather than just jumping into it like I tried to do I decided to slow down and try a different approach. So I found a workout that was a slower pace and would allow me to work my way up to the level of jogging I would like to be. I’ve decided to start with a walk/run combination and go from there. I have been doing it for a few weeks now. I think next month I will try a full running workout but still slower. do try a low pace run every now and then.
I am so glad to have this treadmill. It has really brought a really good change to my life. I can’t wait to see where I am in a few weeks. I hope to have a good update for you guys soon. I just know right now I feel like I’m on a really good path fitness wise. I am excited to see the next level.
