As I get back into my workout routine I find one thing that keeps me motivated is music. I’m not a great dancer but I like to do it anyway. When I go for walks by myself I find that I like to listen to a great mix of music. I don’t listen to just one thing. I am always looking for new music so I am up for any suggestions. This is 5 songs that are currently at the top of my playlist:
- Black Violin- I was just recently introduced to this group thanks to my husband. I got in the car one day and he was playing the song Stereotypes. I have been hooked ever since
- Earth, Wind, & Fire- I just love this band. I of course grew up on them. My parents listened to a mixture of music. My mom loves the oldies. One of my favorite songs by them is the song SingaSong.
- Iggy Azalea- Okay you have to admit you need some ratchet music in your life sometimes. Well I’ll admit it I have quite a list of ratchet music. This is just one of the songs I like to listen to. Fancy makes your confidence kind of perk up and make you remember your goal. Unless you have the edited version or Kidz Bop I would highly recommend listening this one through your headphones.:
- Mary J. Blige- I don’t think I even have to mention the name of the song that I listen to. Just Fine, fine, fine, fine! Again just a reminder of your goal.
- Finatticz- Don’t Drop That Thun Thun is just a reminder to me to keep moving.
- Meghan Trainor- Okay I just had to add one more. All About That Bass is just a feel good song. Who wouldn’t want to keep moving listening to this song.
