La La Land Mommy: The Toy I Wanted Most As A Kid
I am participating in a writing challenge called NaBloPoMo. This challenge is about getting our creative juices as bloggers flowing. So for thirty days I will be writing on various prompts. The challenge actually started Monday so I am two days behind. The first prompt asks that we talk about a toy that we wanted that a friend had as a kid. Now as a kid I had a lot of toys that my friends had that I wanted. From Nintendo to Power Wheels. However the one thing I really wanted as a kid was a playhouse. I have a friend who had one and then I remembered playing in one at school. I thought that I just had to have one. I could play in them all day. I think I asked my parents for one for like two years straight. Unfortunately they were unable to get me one. I wound up just being happy to go over my friend’s house and play in hers and the ones at school. My day would’ve been made if I ever gotten one but my parents were able to get me other things that I wanted. My world didn’t end just because I didn’t get one.
