Last week I attended a blogger event. I had a great time and took many pictures. I thought I chose a great outfit. What you don’t know is that there was one thing I was not too thrilled about and that was my hair. I mean while it looked okay I just really wasn’t happy with it. Let me tell you why. Because I wanted to wear a twist out I twisted my hair on Monday I think not exactly sure when so don’t quote me on it but I know my hair had been in the twist for more than two days. Well when I went to take them out I found that my ends were tangling were tangling once I tried to spread the twists a second time. I was not a happy camper because it made my hair look horrible.I was in a bit of a rush so I tucked my ends under and pinned them their so that they wouldn’t be seen. I could not figure out how it had gone wrong. My twist outs have always been hit and misses. Which is really weird. Usually I just let it go but this time I had to figure out what went wrong.
So I decided that next time I wanted to wear a twist out that I would try doing the twist a few days before or maybe redo them. Well this week I got lazy after I got home from the event I oiled my hair and wet it and put it in one connecting braid around my head which I wound up loving. I thought it was so cute. WOuld’ve have shared that style but I didn’t think to take a picture until Friday and after wearing my hair like that for a week without redoing it I decided that it wasn’t a good idea. I wasn’t about to redo it only for me to take it down and then twist my hair so maybe I’ll do that picture next time I do it. So Friday I sat down and did my hair. I couldn’t wait until Saturday morning to see how my hair turned out. So I woke up the next morning excited to see how my hair turned out and was thrilled to see that my hair turned out great. I now know that it is probably best to do my twists a few days before my twist out. Next I’m going to try redoing them maybe the day before and see how it turns out. Can’t wait. Oh yeah it also probably isn’t a good idea for me at least not to try a twist out the day after I was my hair as well. That also was a hairstyle disaster. But oh well my motto is always you live and learn. That’s what life is about.

Twists are hit and miss.
I had to find my rhythm and way to do them too.
But usually I co-wash and twist so they air dry overnight.
