La La Land Mommy: Oktoberfest Chicken Schnitzel
Last week I tried another Home Chef recipe. This one was called Oktoberfest chicken Schnitzel. I was excited to give it a try because I had never tried this meal before. I definitely never prepared it before. I actually had a couple of firsts when preparing this meal. I made mashed potatoes from scratch, prepared asparagus, and ate asparagus all for the first time. Preparing this meal was so much fun.

Home Chef includes the recipe to make Oktoberfest chicken schnitzel along with all the ingredients in their orders. The directions are very easy to follow. I love that. Just like before I followed along step by step. This is great even for people who don’t cook or cook very little. One suggestion is to make sure you have everything you need around. I am not very good at doing that. I usually always have to get something. But of course it would be easier if you had everything you needed. This meal takes about an hour to prepare. I can see making this meal myself. I loved how everything turned out.

Oktoberfest Chicken Schnitzel tastes amazing! This meal tasted so good. I am now a fan of asparagus. It tasted so good. Thanks Home Chef for helping me discover this vegetable. I will be buying these from my local grocer. The mashed potatoes were also very delicious. I will definitely be making these again too. The biggest surprise is I found out that my daughter Nishe’ loves asparagus as much as I do. Tyler tried them but wasn’t a fan. He liked the mashed potatoes though. My kids asked me when I was going to make this again. I told them I didn’t know. So I’m guessing I will have to plan do it again soon.
