La La Land Mommy: Our First Horse Ride At Pure Horse Play
Last weekend I got to fulfill a dream of mine I’ve wanted to do since I was a little girl. Thanks to The Husband we were able to go and ride horses. He found a deal on Groupon where we were able to ride horse for an hour. He surprised us with it. The name of the place is called Pure Horse Play in Fairburn, Georgia. This is something that I have always wanted to do. I mean I would watch television and see people riding horses and would always say that is something that I wanted to do. I had the biggest smile on my face when I saw where we were going. Nishe’ and Tyler were excited as well.

The horses are absolutely beautiful! The staff was absolutely great! Our instructor was really nice and paired us up with some really great horses. For whatever reason I decided to chooses the biggest horse out of the group. I thought that riding a horse would be really difficult. But it really was easier than I thought. Well we learned the basics. My horse was named Sky, The Husband’s horse was named Breezy, Tyler’s horse was named Apple, and Nishe’s horse was named Baby. We spent the first half walking a trail and then the second half we were able to ride freely. I was able to get Sky to trot with a little help from our instructor. I had no idea horses could be so stubborn. Sometimes they wanted to do what they wanted to do. Like at one point Sky decided that eating was more important than walking. When they got really stubborn the staff would come and help us out. It was really amazing. I also want to give a praise to the staff again because at some point during our ride on the trail my phone fell out of my pocket and they went around looking for it with The Husband until they found it.

We really had so much fun. I hope that we get a chance to do it again. If you are looking for a place to do some horse riding then Pure Horse Play is the place. It was a great experience. I had so much fun!
