I love trying new things in the kitchen. I recently came up with this shrimp sandwich. I had planned to make a stir fry. My plans changed because I had rice the day prior. I knew I wanted a sandwich but I didn’t want the same sandwich I always have. Plus I just wanted something different so I decided to try this sandwich.
This sandwich was really easy. I had some frozen shrimp and my normal vegetables onions, green peppers, and tomatoes. I promise I am going to start trying some different vegetables. I just always catch these on sale.
- I started off by cleaning my shrimp and vegetables. Then I cut up the vegetables. While I was cleaning my vegetables I put some butter in a pan and waited for it to melt.
- Once the butter was melted I threw in my vegetables and shrimp and let them start cooking for about 10 minutes.
- Then I made my toast. Which is super easy I don’t think any instructions are needed.
- Once I was done I put my shrimp and vegetables on my bread and enjoyed.
This sandwich was so good. I wish I had thought to make this sooner. This sandwich took less than 20 minutes to make. I really enjoyed it. I would make it again. This was a fun little experiment for me. I am getting back to having fun in my kitchen. I really did miss it.
