In our home I try to stress to my kids how important their dental hygiene is. I have made mistakes with my dental care that I don’t want them to repeat. These mistakes have resulted in cavities and I have lost some teeth. Because of my mistakes I stay on them about taking proper care of their teeth. That means making sure that they brush at least twice a day and make sure they floss.Right now we are dealing with two different situations when it comes to flossing. Tyler has braces and Nishe’ doesn’t. This post will be focusing on how we found a better flossing solution for Nishe’. A post for Tyler will be coming later. The problem with getting Nishe’ to floss is that she hated struggling to get the floss to thread through her teeth and getting a proper grip on the floss. Plus on top of that if she had to pull the dental floss up and out of her teeth she had to struggle to get it back in. Also if the dental floss went in between her teeth too fast then it tended to cut her gums.
However these instances can be risky and if something like that happens to anyone, it is better to take the help of a dentist. If you don’t have a family dentist in your contacts, finding one on the internet shouldn’t be a hassle. For instance, if you hail from Scarborough, searching on google for Scarborough dentist may do the job for you. Anyways, coming back to Nishe, all this of course then made it uncomfortable to floss. Because she hated flossing I was always on the look out for something that would make it easier for her. I was over the moon when I was asked to review Plackers Flossers. Nishe’ tried the flossers for the first time after dinner last Thursday. She flossed her teeth and I asked her how she liked it. She said that she liked how easy it was to slide between her teeth. Well at first it hurt because instead of making a saw motion to slide it through she pushed it down and it hurt her gums. She got better as she moved along. She liked that the flosser had a grip she didn’t have to struggle with gripping the dental floss. She said that her mouth actually felt cleaner after using the floss. She actually has been flossing her teeth without me having to remind her since these have entered into the home. I am so happy. Another thing that she liked was the cute holder that was sent to us as well. It is shaped like a person with teeth. You can keep up to 75 Plackers Flossers in it. You open the mouth to get a flosser out of it.

I actually tried the flossers myself. I really liked them. They really do a good job cleaning in between my teeth. My teeth felt cleaner than they had ever felt in a while. I will be continuing to use them as well. I mean who doesn’t want to have great teeth. I highly recommend giving this a try. It will be a great hit with your family.
