I’ve posted on here before about my struggle to lose weight. I have been on and off with exercising for years. I have trouble staying motivated. So I am always looking for things that will give me a burst of motivation. Well a few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to review the Ozeri 4×3 Digital Pedometer
Here are some facts about the Ozeri 4×3 Digital Pedometer:
-It is 4×3
-Records steps, speed, distance, & calories burned
-Tells date and time
-Has 7 day memory
-Counts up to a million steps
-Has a split screen
-Comes with a safety leash that goes around your neck
I was so happy when I received my Ozeri pedometer in the mail. I have honestly been wanting a pedometer for the longest now. I have been wondering how many steps I take in a day. Mine I black. It also comes in yellow as well. Black is one of my favorite colors so I was happy with the colors. As always when I get something in the mail I feel like a kid at Christmas and I hurried and unboxed it. I put the strap on it and started seeing what it can do. As a rule for myself I don’t usually look up the products I review online because I want to form my own opinion and not have any expectations. Since it was late in the day I didn’t use the pedometer until the next day.
At this time my kids were still in school which made a perfect start to my day since I walk them to the bus stop. So I woke up and grabbed my pedometer. I was really excited to see how many steps I took by the end of the day. I have apps on my phone to track my steps but unfortunately I can’t leave it on all day because I don’t hold my phone all day and at some point it will need to be charged. So I was definitely happy to not have to worry about charging my pedometer. I was checking it like every two or three hours. I got a thrill out of seeing the numbers go up. By the end of the day that day I had about 3500 steps. Which was a little disappointing. Now I know Im harder on myself than other people are but I thought I was way more active than the pedometer showed. So it then became a challenge to me to see how many steps I can do to beat my previous day’s steps. I am loving this pedometer. It is great to keep track of my steps and to know so much information about my fitness journey. I unfortunately fell off the “wagon” about a week after this because I lost my pedometer but I have found it again and I’m ready to challenge myself again. This isn’t an extremely high tech pedometer but it absolutely does what you expect of it and provides you with a lot of information. I like how affordable it is. This Ozeri 4×3 Digital Pedometer is offered for $12.99 right on Amazon. It’s definitely worth the money
