Happy Monday! Time for a new Self Love Monday post. This week’s post will be an update on my fitness. I started working out again at the beginning of this year. Well I have been working out off and on for awhile now but consistently it has been this year. I missed last week because unfortunately I got a cold but I started again this morning. Took me about an hour to do a 30 minute work out because I am not completely over my cold but I did it.
In fact that 30 minutes is what I am here to talk about. I have to admit when I first started working out again I was only doing 20 minute workouts. I started off with 20 minutes because I didn’t want to over do it and I believe it is important to start slow. But then I found myself doing it simply because it was easier on me. I have been doing the same 20 minutes off and on for months now. About two weeks ago I realized I was working out but still not seeing the results that I wanted to see. So I decided it was time to challenge myself. So I went up to 30 minutes. Now when I first started doing it I felt like I was going to die. But I completed it. Once I get to the point that I can do this time frame without losing breath I will up it again. Obviously since I got sick I am basically going to be starting over but I am up for the challenge. If I do this consistently a few times a week I am sure I will be up to my next time in no time.
