I have learned a bunch about myself over the past few years. I am a person who needs to have a routine. I am also a person who needs to be able to see what I need to do or nothing will get done. I am either all over the place and unable to focus or I overthink everything. This is not a good combination. Add to that, that when I get overwhelmed I can just lose it. So since I know this most times I try to make sure I have what I need to do written down somewhere. Usually it’s on the calendar on my phone. However at times I still ignore the notifications I get especially when I am playing games on my phone. So I figure it was time to do something different.
Since I am so easily distracted and ignore the notifications on my phone I knew I needed to go a different route. My friend was telling me that she got herself a planner and how it really helps her to stay organized and on track. So I figured that I could give it a try. However per my habit I kept putting off getting one. One day I was checking my email and I came across the opportunity to review the Inkberry planner. Since I have been meaning to get a planner I jumped on the opportunity. As soon as it showed up in the mail I started putting it to good use. I wrote everything I needed down in it. I have been using it for two weeks. It has really helped me. I can keep track of my routine, check it off, there is a section where I can write my monthly goals, I can also keep track of small goals and notes. It also comes with little post it notes. I can see a difference in my routine already. I am definitely a little more focus. I still have my days where I am distracted but it is getting better. Now that I can actually see my routine I can stay on track. Sometimes I sit my Inkberry planner right next to me and when I feel myself going off track I’ll look and it will remind me of what I need to be doing. It was definitely worth it to get a planner. I am so glad that I finally got this planner. I really needed it.
