La La Land Mommy: Six Flags’ Batman The Ride BACKWARDS Review
This past Friday I had the pleasure of going to Six Flags’ and being one of the first people to ride the brand new Batman Ride. It is called Batman The Ride BACKWARDS. This ride is 2,700 feet of track and the coaster goes 50 miles per hour. It also takes riders up a 10 story lift hill before sending back down BACKWARDS. I had been looking forward to this event for about two weeks. I was just ready for this experience. One of the most exciting things about this ride is that it goes BACKWARDS! Can you believe it?

When I woke up Friday morning I was just a ball of excitement and energy. I just couldn’t wait. I arrived at Six Flags around 11:30. I got all signed in and immediately headed for the ride. Now this may sound a little weird but roller coasters make me feel a little uneasy. Maybe because I haven’t rode them too many times in my life. I do like to challenge myself though. When my turn was up to ride the roller coaster came up I strapped myself in and was ready to have a great time. The picture above is the picture I grabbed just before the ride took off. I was so not prepared. Ha ha ha! The ride started slowly going backwards and this was so odd to me because I’m used to seeing where I am going. Then once we got to the top there was a sudden drop. Then we went through all the spins and turns. I almost lost my glasses. Anyone noticing a trend with my glasses? Before you knew it the ride was done.
Here is my immediate reaction after getting off the ride:
The ride was quick but it was definitely worth it. It will make you scream and feel so excited. I can’t wait to go back to Six Flags and ride it again. You really get an adventure out of the ride. For attending the event I and the rest of the attendees received a cool shirt.

Six Flags Over Atlanta is now open on the weekends through May 17th. It will also be open every day of spring break. Keep an eye out because Six Flags will be debuting two more rides this summer. They are the Joker Chaos Coaster and the Harley Quinn Spinsanity. In the mean time checkout this newscapsule of the new Batman The Ride BACKWARDS:
