With Halloween around the corner one of the things most people in Atlanta are looking forward to is the Six Flags Fright Fest. Six Flags Fright Fest is one of the most exciting events in Atlanta. Would you be shocked to know that I have never been? Shocking right. I have been in Atlanta all my life and have never experienced Fright Fest. As always when I get the opportunity to attend Fright Fest for a blogger event I was thrilled to go. I went during the day. So I still have to experience the night time event.
The Husband, kids, and I headed to Six Flags early Saturday morning. It was actually raining a little. But it didn’t stop us from getting out there and having some fun. This was actually Tyler’s first time visiting the park. He was excited but a little nervous since he isn’t a big fan of roller coasters. This was actually a scavenger hunt. We had to find specific items in the park. Like we had to take a picture in front of our favorite ride, decorate a pumpkin and take a picture with it, and take a picture with a pirate or witch. We got those 3 but one that seemed the most difficult was finding the park characters dressed up an their Halloween costumes. Everyone seems to have found them except for us. I think we had the most fun with the pumpkins.
We of course enjoyed some of the rides. Nishe’ was partner in this one. She and I rode a lot of rides. She said her favorite was the mindbender and Tyler loved the bumper cars. My favorite was the Ninja. The park completely transforms during Fright Fest. There are people in costumes and new fun things to do like the Dead Man’s Party. We didn’t get to go see the party but from seeing pics from other attendees it was fun. We also got to see a hilarious wild west show. We had an all around great time.
Six Flags Fright Fest is from Sept. 26 – Nov. 1. Head on out and have some fun. It is definitely worth it.
