I received free passes to visit Slingshot. All opinions expressed are my own
This past Sunday my family and I did something we rarely do. We ventured out on a Sunday. We headed to a new place we had driven by on numerous occasions but never had the opportunity to visit. It is called Slingshot. My brother also joined us for some fun. We found ourselves with some time on our hand so we decided to take the opportunity to visit.
Slingshot has a lot to offer. $15 per person and a signed waiver gives you access to so much. Everything is included except for go-karts and food.
We started our visit off with some bowling. I lost twice. My brother won one game and then Tyler won one. It was really fun. We are a competitive family so it was so much fun challenging each other.
After some bowling we decided to race each other. so we headed to the in-door go-kart track. That was so much fun. We don’t know who won because we were just driving. My brother thinks he won though.
After doing a few laps we headed over to the ninja warrior course they have. Tyler and Nishe’ loved this. They enjoyed climbing all over the obstacle courses and challenging themselves. I think the most challenging one was the one where we had to jump on to a bar and then swing from the bar to a punching bag. We all gave it a try. 3 out of 4 of us made it to the bar. No one made it to the punching bag. Okay I will confess I was the one who didn’t make it. In fact I faceplanted. You can see it below:
After we wore ourselves out on the course the kids headed to play with some large Legos. You never get too old for Legos.
They also have a large play area for younger kids. Well kids as young as about 5. Younger kids if the parents accompany them. Also there is a area where you can play old school gaming systems.
Slingshot turned out to be a great family outing for all of us. We had so much fun and will be returning again. You can find Slingshot in Norcross, Georgia. Please take your family and have a great time.
