Last Saturday I had no idea what I wanted to cook for dinner. I just knew I didn't want anything with pasta or rice in it. Trying to limit how often I have them at the moment. So I started looking around my kitchen to see what I had to make a decent meal. I found some yellow squash, canned diced tomatoes, Italian sausage, green bell peppers, turnips, & beef broth. Beef,Rice, & Vegetable Soup
One thing that I remember from when I was a kid was every winter my mom would make a big pot of soup and some cornbread on the side. This is what I was thinking of when I got the urge to make soup about a week ago. I got all the ingredients but didn't actually make the soup until Sunday evening.
